Awaken your inner explorer through expressive art journaling & observing the world we live in through a different lens.
Exploratory Mixed Media for chronicling travel & everyday life. Bring your favorite travel sketchbook or mixed media journal, ephemera that you've collected over the years, and any paints, markers, pens, and pencils you enjoy working with. There will be some materials available to share.

Painting with Textiles
Wednesdays, Sept 21 - Oct 2

Fabric assemblages, including textile collage and art quilting, are increasingly popular, highlighting the unlimited potential of using mixed-media to enrich and enliven your work with unique surface design. Learn how to incorporate embellished textile techniques, appliqué, quilting, thread and bead embroidery, and photographic images in your projects. We will also explore hand quilting, principles of design, presentation of textile art, and more. Sewing experience is helpful, but not necessary. Supply list will be included with confirmation.

Get Your Feet Wet - Intro to Watercolor

Always wanted to try watercolor? Sample the paints, brushes, and papers used in this magical medium. Demonstrations and examples of various techniques will be covered, allowing you to experiment and become familiar with materials while you develop the skills to create beautiful watercolor paintings. No experience needed - just an adventurous spirit.

Plein Air Painting Workshop

Watercolor Bootcamp

This 5 hour bootcamp to hone your watercolor technique, so you can start painting, art journaling, or painting plein air faster and with more confidence.

Based off of her eight class series "Get Your Feet Wet: Watercolor Basics" this is the nitty gritty of various paint applications, color mixing information, mixed media techniques, and composition layout suggestion that you'll need to improve your watercolor skills.
