Let it Bloom: Coming Back to Self Inspired by Spring’s Energy & Finding Balance After the Eclipse Season

Spring doesn’t arrive all at once - even though sometimes it may seem like it. It stirs gently beneath the surface, unseen, unheard, often unwitnessed - much like our own awakening after a long season of rest and reflection. And after the intensity of this year’s first eclipse season, that traversed the transit between Pisces and Aries season (yeah cause why not) which so often brings our most tender emotions to the surface to burn away and temper us—it’s okay if you’re still feeling raw, upside down, or a little lost in the liminal.

This Libra Full Moon on April 13, arrives as Spring begins to stretch her limbs, offering us a sacred invitation to pause, breathe in the beauty awakening around us and in us, and to recalibrate. We are reminded to return to balance, truth, and sovereignty—not for others, but for ourselves.

Let It Flow:

These eclipse energies we have experienced washed away old illusions, leaving the emotional terrain of our lives feeling like freshly tilled soil — messy, exposed, but full of possibility - just like a garden. Spring reminds us that we don’t need to force the bloom, it happens naturally. Especially in our lives, if you’ve honored Winter's quiet invitation for rest and preparation, now is the time to let things unfold, flow, and reveal themselves in divine timing.

Let yourself feel it all.

There’s magic in not knowing exactly what’s next.

Honoring the Seasonal Wisdom of Spring:

At this time of year in the Northern Hemisphere, our agrarian ancestors were just beginning to enjoy the first fresh growth of the season—nettles, dandelion greens, new milk, early eggs. The return of nourishment after a long winter was gradual, sacred, and celebrated. Spring didn’t ask them to bloom all at - it gave them the gentle nudge to awaken; it invited them to start seeds on a windowsill, to forage gently, to listen to the land.

Let this guide your self-care:

  • Eat what’s in season (deeply nourishing, rich in Iron and other vitamins and minerals)

  • Learn about respectful foraging (reach out if you need resources)

  • Get outside and enjoy nature awakening around you and the warmth of the Sun.

  • Use the Farmer’s Almanac or local wisdom to align with the land

  • Honor traditional foodways and cultural knowledge

Staying Present is opening a Portal to let it bloom:

Reconnecting to the wild, awakened energy of Spring doesn’t require an escape or a grand gesture. It begins with a breath, a moment of noticing—what is stirring in you now?

Let go of urgency.

Hold space for presence.

Let your growth feel slow, steady, sovereign.

Because this season is yours to define.
